How does the affiliate program work?
Once your application has been approved, you will receive instructions on how to log into your account and select banners and text links. These have a special URL (web address) that contains your affiliate ID. When your customers click on this link, the information is recorded as a click from your affiliate ID. When the customer completes the transaction, the confirmation page then applies this transaction to your affiliate ID. If you have more than one web site or have a web site and manage PPC ad campaigns, then you will be able to track these individually so you can adjust your linking strategy for maximum conversion.
What do your landing pages look like?
You can send your visitors directly to special landing pages on gay.com. Here is an example of a landing page for gay men , and another one for lesbians . We have other landing pages that you can choose from once you are an affiliate.
Where do i find additional technical information about your affiliate program?
Once you are approved, you will have access to the online help within the affiliate program interface. If you have any questions beyond that, email us at affiliates@gay.com . We are here to help you.
What Keywords do you suggest that I use in PPC campaigns or organic search results?
Dating, date, personals, online dating, dating sites, [city name here] dating, matchmaking, dating services, dating ads, gay dating, lesbian dating, partner, sex, singles, European dating, personal ads, gay personals, men seeking men, men for men, and gay chat. Where do your customers come from?
gay.com customers come from all over the world, with the largest concentration from the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Australia, Argentina, Spain, Mexico and Brazil.
Am I eligible to become an affiliate partner?
We are selective about which affiliate partners we choose. If you plan on promoting our ads on a web site, it needs to be an active web site that isn't under construction. Also, we do not allow any web sites that are incentivized (give points or money back to their visitors) or contain inappropriate content. We also monitor for trademark bidding violations.
Do you allow web sites with sexual content?
Yes. We're not prudes, but we have good taste. for more information on what kind of content we allow, e-mail us at affiliates@gay.com .
Do I have to process credit card transactions from your customers?
No. We handle all of the credit card processing, leaving you free to focus on driving traffic and clicks to gay.com.
Do you have an affiliate newsletter?
Yes, we publish a quarterly affiliate newsletter and send out periodic updates when appropriate. Our newsletter has helpful tips on how to maximize your results.
How much can I earn as an affiliate?
We don't put a limit on how much you can earn from referrals, and neither should you. Your potential depends only on how much traffic you drive through our ads.
How often do i get paid?
We pay our affiliate partners on a regular monthly schedule, with the commission rate based on the number of subscriber conversions during the calendar month.

Just fill out our simple online application form , and we will contact you within three business days to notify you if your application has been accepted. Once your account has been set up, you'll be able to start linking to our site and earning commissions right away.
